CHARLOTTE, N.C. –Β  Wilson always has a lot of fun with the kids and today was no exception. Even though his visit at Levine Children’s HospitalΒ  this morning was a serious one he was still able to have a few laughs and a lot of fun with the kids as well as 106.5 the END’s Woody & Wilcox.

The Isabella Santos Foundation and their upcoming 7th Annual 5K for Kids Cancer event was the main topic of the morning.Β  The foundation was formed to not only honor the memory of young Isabella Santos who lost her battle with cancer at the tender age of 7, but to help those children who share the same battle that Isabella so bravely fought.

Wilson met 13 year old Grace who is a patient at the hospital.Β  Before going on the radio with Woody & Wilcox, Grace talked with Wilson about being a patient at Levine Children’s Hospital and how much the hospital and the staff means to her as well as to the other kids being treated.

September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and a great time for everyone to get involved to help those young ones who are fighting the serious battle.Β  One way to help is to be part of the Isabella Santos Foundation and their upcoming events such as their 7th Annual 5K for Kids Cancer this Saturday.Β  For more information on the foundation,Β  how you can help and this weekend’s 5K, check out their website at www.isabellasantosfoundation.com.
