Going Back to the 70s with Wilson at the Levine Museum of the New South

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –Β  If you were living in Charlotte during the 1970s, then you will enjoy today’s Wilson World as he goes retro at the Levine Museum of the New South.Β  “RetroCharlotte” will take you back to the days of the Brady Bunch, Belk Department store in Uptown Charlotte, confusing street signs and Charlotte’s favorite…those orange cones.

The Charlotte Observer‘s photo maven Maria David will bring us all of her images from her popular blog “RetroCharlotte.” Β  The event will have a q&a session and also includes wine and a chicken dinner catered by Merts Heart & Soul Restaurant.Β  “New South for the New Southerner: RetroCharlotte -The 1970s” will be held at the museum on Tuesday, September 23rd beginning at 5:30pm.Β  Reservations must be made.Β  To find out more about the event, ticket information and make reservations click HERE.
