A South Carolina State Trooper who shot an unarmed man in Columbia is out of jail, and out of a job. Β The shooting happened during a traffic stop about three weeks ago, but the dash cam video was just released.
Sean Groubert pulled Levar Jones over for a seatbelt violation. Β He says he shot Jones in the hip because he dove head first in his car. Β Jones is okay, but Groubert faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted. Β
