Casey Parsons Pleads Guilty to Fraud Charges

SALISBURY, NC — The adoptive mother of a missing Salisbury girl faces a maximum 200 years in prison for federal fraud charges.

Casey Parsons pleaded guilty to 15 charges Wednesday, including conspiracy to defraud the government and mail fraud. Β Casey and her husband Sandy are accused of taking government money on Erica Parson’s behalf after she disappeared. Β 

No one has seen her since 2011. Β Her adopted brother reported her missing in August of 2013. Β Casey Parsons will be sentenced in February. Β Charges against her husband are still pending.
