Three Drug Arrests Made In Two Different Lincoln County Traffic Stops

LINCOLNTON, N.C. — Lincoln County Sheriff’s Narcotics Officers have arrested three men in connection with a month long drug trafficking investigation in the Lincoln County area. 

Authorities seized 23 grams of Heroin following a traffic stop on Highway 16 near the Highway 73 intersection. Officers arrested Walter Pettson Light and Zachary David Newell, both of Maiden, N.C., and charged them with Trafficking in Heroin and Conspiracy.

Another traffic stop in Lincoln County resulted in the seizure of just over 15 grams of cocaine. Investigators were operating on a tip that someone would be transporting illegal drugs in to Lincoln County, when they arrested Ryan Eugene Farley. He was charged with Felony Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver a Controlled Substance.
