
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Retailer H&M will open a new store at SouthPark Mall on November 6th, 2014 at noon.
“We are thrilled to be opening yet another store in North Carolina!” says Daniel Kulle, U.S. President for H&M. “We look forward to providing our Charlotte customers with everything they need for fall, from basics to inspiring fashion items for the whole family, all at great value.”
The nearly 21,000 square foot store will offer collections for ladies, men, young ladies, young men, and children. The H&M At SouthPark Mall store will also have separate sections for accessories, lingerie, and its plus size line, H&M+.
The H&M at SouthPark Mall store has hired 50 people locally and employs almost 15,000 people nationwide.
As part of their global garment recycling program, customers who donate old and unwanted clothing items will receive 15% off vouchers for each bag of clothing donated. Those who brig bags of clothing before the noon opening will also be eligible to win $50 and $100 H&M gift cards in addition to the vouchers.
H&M at SouthPark Mall will offer the first 200 shoppers in line an H&M t-shirt as part of the opening day celebration.
