CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Thanks to the recent arctic blast, more people are getting the holiday bug early and heading out to local Christmas tree farms to search for that perfect tree to decorate.

Not only did the cold weather get us in the mood for the upcoming holiday, but it also helps those trees hold up longer.

WCCB Meteorologist Greg Armbrecht stopped by Sugar Plum Farms and Turtle Creek Choose and Cut to talk with not only the farmers, but the shoppers who make the trip a family tradition.
