Son Arrested For Killing Father During Argument At East Charlotte Home

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police say a man is facing murder charges for shooting and killing his father in east Charlotte.

Investigators say Willie Golphin and his son, James Golphin, got into an argument around 6:30 a.m. Monday morning on Balvenie Court.  

James is accused of pulling out a gun and shooting his father to death.  Police have charged him with murder.
