MAIDEN, NC — A manhunt in Catawba County. Neighbors are being told to stay inside their homes and keep the doors locked in part of Maiden.
Deputies, U.S. Marshals and ATF agents are searching for a wanted man in the woods near Tower Road. WCCB Charlotte is told they are looking for a man who led officers on a short chase that started on Highway 16 near Newton Thursday afternoon.
He is wanted for possession of a firearm by a felon.
