Β CHARLOTTE, NC — The car stolen from an elderly woman during a violent robbery has been recovered. Β Police are trying to figure out how two boys, aged 13 and 14, ended up with the car. Β Those kids were arrested after they used the vehicle in a hit and run accident Tuesday morning.
Police do not believe the boys were involved in the violent home invasion on Westcliff Drive Sunday afternoon, where the car was stolen. Β The people who did that also attacked the 72-year-old woman who lives there, before taking her olive gray 2005 Nissan Altima.
17-year-old Sylessa Ford, 18-year-old Myron Bullock and a 14-year-old boy are charged in connection to the home invasion.
