CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Violent Criminal Apprehension Team is asking for information regarding the whereabouts of Hector Mauricio Flores who is wanted for Attempted First Degree Statutory Rape.
Police say the suspect and the victim are acquaintances.
Flores cut his Electronic Monitoring Device and fled the scene following the incident. He was last seen near Idlewild road.
Anyone with information as to his whereabouts should immediately call the Violent Criminal Apprehension Team at (704) 336-VCAT or call 911.
