
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have arrested 30-year-old Davonte Louis and 26-year-old Lauren Graeber for their involvement in a series of armed robberies in the University area.

Police asked for help identifying a suspect who robbed a Kangaroo Express on Harris Station Boulevard, a Kangaroo Marathon gas station on North Tyron Street and an Extended Stay America on University Executive Park Drive.
Authorities received a Crime Stoppers tip that identified the suspect as Davonte Louis and described the vehicle that he was driving. This morning, the Real Time Crime Center notified the North Tryon Division of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department that the suspect’s vehicle was traveling in their area. Officer’s conducted a traffic stop and arrested Mr. Louis and the passenger, Ms. Graeber.
Mr. Louis was charged with three counts of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, two counts of Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Attempted Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Assault with a Deadly Weapon Inflicting Serious Injury, 2nd degree Kidnapping and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. Ms. Graeber was charged with three counts of Conspiracy to Commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Possession of Cocaine.
