Police Search for Suspect in Triple Shooting

CHARLOTTE, NC — Police search for a suspect in a triple shooting. Β Police and MEDIC were called to two different scenes in west Charlotte Thursday night. Β Three people were shot, all in the hospital with life-threatening or potentially life-threatening injuries. Β Police say the shooter knew the victims.
The shooting happened, police say, after an argument. Β That’s when the gunman shot the three people on Columbus Circle. Β WCCB has learned that one victim actually ran half a mile to a convenience store on Berryhill Road for help.
Police have a description of the shooter, but have not released that yet.
