
BOSTON, M.A. — New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady plans to give the Chevrolet Colorado he won for being named Super Bowl XLIX MVP to defensive back Malcolm Butler, who made the game saving interception.
Butler intercepted Russell Wilson’s pass intended for Ricardo Lockette with 20 seconds remaining in the Super Bowl, and the Patriots leading the Seahawks 28-24. The Patriots went on to win the game and Brady was named MVP for the third time in his career.
Brady speaking on Boston sports radio station WEEI said, “I’d love to give Malcolm the truck.” He added, “We’re going to figure out how to make that happen.”
Butler, an undrafted rookie form West Alabama is now a Super Bowl hero, and looks to be in line for a new truck as well.
