CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools will close administrative offices and school buildings early Monday, Feb. 16th at 2 p.m. due to the forecast for severe weather conditions in the Charlotte area.
Freezing rain and cold temperatures are expected to create icy and dangerous road conditions throughout the county.
After-school Enrichment Program (ASEP) will close early, however, staff will remain at sites until all ASEP students have been picked up. All evening athletic activities and Community Use of Schools events are canceled for Monday evening.

Please take extra precautions to travel safely on the roads this afternoon and evening. CMS will share information about any changes to CMS school and work schedules as decision are made.
