Over 2,000 Travelers Spent The Night At CLT Airport Due To Cancellations

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Over 2,000 people spent the night at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport as flights were canceled and delayed due to the winter storm.

Airport officials say they are working to re-book all the flights but they do expect some travelers to have to spend another night at the airport.

Officials are asking travelers to be sure to check your flight status before you head to the airport.
