Snow will continue to fall until Thursday morning. Charlotte could see 2-3″ of snow in the first few hours. Total snow fall could likely be 5-9″ with heavier snow from North Mecklenburg County to Concord area and east. The mountains could see 2-3″ of snow.
Tonight: Rain and snow, becoming all snow after 9pm. The snow could be heavy at times. Patchy fog. Low around 31. Light and variable wind becoming north northeast 5 to 9 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 5 to 9 inches possible.
Thursday: A chance of rain and snow before 2pm, then a slight chance of rain showers after 5pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. North northeast wind 3 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Thursday Night: A slight chance of rain showers before 9pm, then a slight chance of snow showers between 9pm and midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 26. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 43. Calm wind becoming north around 6 mph in the morning.
