CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was at Classroom Central today where he was learning about how the organization continues to make it easier for teachers to obtain supplies for their students.  Classroom Central helps teachers in over 200 schools in 6 districts get needed school supplies to over 100,000 students who are living in poverty and can’t afford to buy the necessities to perform well in school.

Classroom Central get help from volunteers and donations.  One of their biggest volunteers is the group from Two Men and a Truck who have been working with the organization for eight years, helping them to deliver supplies to schools around the area.  They are currently delivering items from Classroom Central’s recent “Backpacks and Basics” drive.

Classroom Central is on the last half of the year push to continue to get supplies to the kids to help them through the rest of the year.  They are still in need of both donations and volunteers.
