CHARLOTTE, N. C. –  We have found Wilson at the top of the Fury roller coaster at Carowinds, rappelling down the side of an Uptown building and even jumping out of a plane.  Today, he was at it again thanks to the ferris wheel at the Toyota Racing Fan Zone at Charlotte Motor Speedway and a few watermelons.

But before he took his ride on the ferris wheel, Wilson was a little more serious while talking with Ellyn Brotherton of the USO of North Carolina, Charlotte Center about their partnership with CMS and Coca-Cola.  As they do before the Coca Cola 600 every year, members of our military will again be honored at the track.

Wilson had a special on-the-clock two-in-one interview with Paul Doleshal of Toyota about the new Toyota Camry and the Sprint Cup Camry…well at least 1/2 of each car.

Zach Case and Jason Gay with BK Racing Team talked about their recent trip to the Marine Base at Camp LeJeune to tour their facilities including the rehab center at the base.

BK Racing driver J.J. Yaley joined Wilson to talk about his #23 Toyota which, during the 600 race on Sunday, will have a special “we salute you” paint scheme that was created to honor our fallen military.  Find out more about the car and their partnership with Hope for the Warriors program at their website bkracing.com.

J.J. then took a ride with Wilson on the Toyota Racing Fan Zone ferris wheel to create as big of a watermelon disaster as possible by throwing the melons out into the parking lot.  Who gets to clean up the mess?

The the green flag for the Coca Cola 600 goes up on Sunday, May 25th with a pre-race concert by rockers ZZ Top.  Speedway gates open at 12:30pm.  For information on all of the events leading up to the Coca Cola 600 go to the Charlotte Motor Speedway website at charlottemotorspeedway.com.
