CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Head of School at Carmel Christian has resigned. Officials say J. Van Wade’s resignation is effective immediately.
Carmel Baptist Church’s executive pastor, Jay Hancock, says he can not comment on personal matters.
Wade worked at Carmel Christian for 15 years. The associate head of school, Jack Kelley, will take over while officials look for a replacement.
