Police: Neighbor Not Charged for Shooting Two Claremont Brothers

CLAREMONT, N.C. — Two brothers have been shot in a Claremont driveway after a domestic dispute late last night, according to the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office.

The victims have been identified as Alijah and Caleb Jackson. The brothers live next door to Joshua Edwards and the shooting occurred in his driveway.

After interviews and his appearing in front of a judge, there has been no evidence of probable cause to charge Edrwards.

Both brothers are in critical condition at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. We will continue to update this story as more details are released.
