PHOENIX (AP) β€” Welington Castillo hit a two-run homer with two outs in the seventh inning for his first hit with Arizona, lifting the Diamondbacks over Bartolo Colon and the New York Mets 2-1 on Saturday night.

Castillo, who came to Arizona this week in the trade that sent Mark Trumbo to Seattle, struck out four times in his Diamondbacks debut Friday but lined Colon’s first pitch just over the left-field wall.

Colon (8-4) had blanked Arizona on three hits through six innings.

New York had led since Juan Lagares’ home run in the second off Chase Anderson, who ended up with a no-decision for the ninth time in his 11 starts.

Randall Delgado (3-2) pitched a scoreless seventh to get the win, and Brad Ziegler escaped a ninth-inning jam for his sixth save when pinch-hitter John Mayberry Jr. bounced into a game-ending double play with two on.
