Deputies say 18-year-old shoots, kills his mother’s boyfriend

LANCASTER, S.C. – An 18-year-old is behind bars charged in the shooting death of his mother’s boyfriend.

Lancaster County Sheriff’s Deputies say D’Andre Ivey fired an AR-style pistol, hitting 37-year-old Justin Bailey multiple times. Investigators say the shooting happened during a family argument early Monday morning at a home on Thompson Road. Bailey died at the hospital.

Ivey was arrested shortly after the shooting and charged with murder. He is being held without bond.
