CHARLOTTE, N.C.- This week’s Waiting Child has a heart of gold.  He’s a calm and cool teenager with the dream to save others.

He begins by stepping into a pair of boots.  Then he pulls up the oversized pants and slides on the suspenders.  Firefighters help him with his heavy coat and here comes the helmet.  Now jonathan is ready to put out fires.

Jonathan is 15 years old.  When I asked him what he wants to be when he gets older, he shares that he simply wants to save people, “My dream is to save animals and save people.”

He says he’s an animal lover and currently has five dogs.  Jonathan has a plan to make sure every animal has a home, “I feel like opening my own business when I get older which is a hotel for animals.”

With a heart to serve and constantly wanting to help those around him, he shares where his ambition comes from, “When my dad passed away he cared a lot for me.  He told me to do good things in my life so I am going to do that.”

Help Jonathan find a family to call his own.  Consider adoption.  You have the choice to change his life forever.
