Driver Crashes into Home of Family of Five

 CHARLOTTE, N.C — A family of five was reportedly sleeping in their home when a driver crashed into their house on Farm Pond Lane.

The family was helped out of their homes and officers say everyone is expected to be okay. The driver is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries and has not been charged with any crimes. Officers say there is still no word on how or why this happened. 

Red Cross has stepped in to help the family.
