(AP) β In the second major of the LPGA season, South Korean Sei Young Kim takes a one-shot lead over Hall of Famer Karrie Webb into today’s third round play at the Women’s PGA Championship. Kim is eight under through her two rounds at Westchester Country Club outside New York City.
BELMONT, Mass. (AP) β Defending champ Bernhard Langer (LAHN’-gur) is halfway toward becoming the first back-to-back winner of the Senior Players Championship since Arnold Palmer did it 30 years ago. The two-time Masters champ starts third-round play with a four-shot lead over lefty Russ Cochran in the Champions Tour’s third major of the year.
