ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Rowan County Sheriff’s investigator Sara Benfield has made additional charges against Kevin Scott Rose who, last week, was initially charged with First Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
The additional charges stem from incidents that occurred with a separate victim from 2009 to 2013.
The additional charges made today are five counts of First Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, three counts of First Degree Sex Offense, one count of First Degree Rape, and one count of Incest. Kevin Scott Rose was given an additional $500,000 secured bond.
Rose was given an additional $500,000 secured bond. His first appearance is set for June 18, 2015.
