MINTΒ HILL, N.C. — Police executing a search warrant arrested a Mint Hill man for Kidnapping and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance among other charges on Monday.
Authorities arrested Justin Lee Pruner, 24, of Mint Hill at his home without incident. According to reports, officers met with a woman claiming to be held against her will. An investigation ensued and detectives obtained a search warrant for the residence of Mr. Pruner as well as an arrest warrant for Mr. Pruner.
Pruner was charged with Misdemeanor Communicating Threats, Misdemeanor Assault with aΒ Deadly Weapon, Felony Habitual Misdemeanor Assault, and Second Degree Kidnapping.
Contraband was found inside the home and Mr. Pruner was also charged with Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Felony Maintaining a Dwelling/Vehicle/Place of Controlled Substances, and Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Controlled Substance.
Mr. Pruner was transported to the Mecklenburg County Jail.
