Wilson at the Humane Society of Charlotte Previewing the New Movie ‘Max’

CHARLOTTE, N. C. –  Wilson was giving us a preview of the upcoming movie “Max” while he was visiting the irresistable animals at the Humane Society of Charlotte.  Josh Wiggins, one of the stars of the movie, and Boaz Yakin, the movie’s director, joined Wilson to talk about the movie and give support to the Humane Society.

“Max,” which was filmed around the Charlotte area, is about a precision-trained military dog who looses his handler while serving on the front lines in Afghanistan.  Suffering from the traumatic experience,  Max is sent stateside where the only person he connects with is the younger brother of his former handler.  Rated PG, the movie is a family action adventure that address family trials and issues.

Also starring in the movie is Lauren Graham and Thomas Haden Church.  The part of Max is played by Carlos who is a Belgian Malinois (a short-haird Belgian Shepherd dog).
