Charleston Church Shooting Suspect Indicted On Attempted Murder Charges

CHARLESTON, S.C. — The man accused of shooting and killing nine church members at a Charleston church has been indicted on three additional charges.

Officials say Dylann Roof was indicted on three attempted murder charges.  These charges are related to the people who were inside the church and survived the attack.

Roof already faces nine counts of murder and one count of possessing a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

Roof is accused of shooting church members at Mother Emanuel AME Church on June 17th following a Bible study.
