Police: Three Teens Arrested After Shooting Horse In Chester

CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — Police say three juveniles have been arrested for shooting a horse in Chester County.

The shooting happened on July 18th in a pasture on Pressley Road.  A woman told police she heard a gunshot and went outside to check when she noticed her daughter’s horse laying in the pasture.  

She said the horse had a small bullet hole in the shoulder.  The horse had to be put down due to the injuries it suffered in the shooting. 

The names of the suspects haven’t been released because they are juveniles.  They each face a charge of malicious damage to property.
