CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police need your help identifying a man accused of tying up a man and robbing him in east Charlotte.
Investigators say the suspect entered the victim’s residence on Barncliff Road Sunday morning. Β The victim claims he was tied up and robbed.Β
The suspect is accused of stealing the victim’s burgundy colored 1999 Mercedes Benz ML320 with NC License Plate Number DFR1601. Β
The suspect is described as a black male who may go by the name ‘Rakeem’. Β Police say he is in his 40’s, approximately 6’2″ tall, thin build and weighs about 170lbs. Β
The suspect may still be driving the stolen Benz, which has not been located. Β Anyone with information on this suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
