CHARLOTTE, NC –  Wilson is dedicating all of his shows this week to teaching kids and their parents all about how to be safe around water.  Teaming up with the YMCA of Greater Charlotte discussing swimming lessons to safety and rescue instructions, Wilson’s guests this week will cover it all.

Today Wilson was visiting the pool at Johnston YMCA on North Davidson Street.  And as always, it was a lot of fun when the kids get involved!

Wilson introduced us to 10 year old L’Darius who took his floaties off today and jumped into the pool to swim on his own for the first time.  To find our more about the YMCA’s swim classes and  their push to get more kids to learn how to swim check out their website ymcacharlotte.org/SwimmingSavesLives.

Not only did we learn a lot about pool safety, but a lot about summer vacations and sharks at Myrtle Beach thanks to the young swimmers at the Y.
