CHARLOTTE, NC – It was a cheese ball war with Wilson, his guests and Derek this morning…all due to pop-up theater. To make his show a little more exciting today, Wilson started a cheese ball war with Derek while picking his favorite cheese ball.
Wilson was in SouthEnd with donna scott productions today to find out more about their upcoming pop-up theater at the Charlotte Art League in historic South End.
The Book of Liz is a cheese ball comedy which follows the journey of Sister Elizabeth Donderstock (who makes cheese balls for a living) from her sheltered life to the real world. The play’s lead actor Tonya Bludsworth talked with Wilson about the play and started the epic cheese ball war with Derek.
When you visit the Charlotte Art League for a performance of the pop-up play, be sure to check out the art that is for sale. Located at 1517 Camden Road in Charlotte, CAL offers art that is affordable for everyone. Also, they are part of the Gallery Crawl the first Friday of every month.
Performances of The Book of Liz begin Thursday, August 6th and run through Saturday, August 22nd. For more information on donna scott productions as well as performance times for The Book of Liz, go to their website donnascottproductions.com.
