MARSHVILLE, N.C. — Detectives say they arrested a woman after an infant child was found unresponsive. Β
Investigators say Tamika Horne, 37, is facing a felony child abuse charge. Β Deputies say on August 12th they responded to a home on Hasty Road and found an infant in cardiac arrest. Β
The child was transferred to CMC in Charlotte and is being treated for a traumatic brain injury. Β The child remains in critical condition at this time. Β
Horne is currently in the Union County Jail under a $250,000 bond. Β
