CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson literally took his show on the road today to get everyone ready to end the summer on a high note at the NC Music Factory’s big Southern Social on Friday, September 11th.
Beginning at Hendrick Mini on Independence, Wilson and Camerman Mike hit the road in a Mini caravan. His first stop was at the NCMF to talk with Ken Thomas about the Southern Social and everything going on at the event. His last stop was to surprise the crew at WCCB.
St. Paul and the Broken Bones, a rock and roll band with a lot of soul in their horn section will be headling the Southern Social. They have opened for the Rolling Stones and will be playing the House of Blues in Cleveland later this year.
Enjoy the best southern fried chicken in town thanks to Prices Chicken Coop and one of the south’s favorite sandwich treats, pimento cheese, from Queen Charlotte’s Pimento Cheese Royale. And there will be plenty of beverages, regular and adult, thanks to Cheerwine.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Greater Charlotte SPCA.
There are only a few general admission tickets left for the show. To purchase tickets and find out more about the event click HERE.
