Traveling Back in Time with Wilson at the Carolina Renaissance Festival

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -Wiilson took us on a preview of the newly expanded Carolina Renaissance Festival that is running weekends now through November 22nd.
This year’s 22nd annual event has an additional 5 acres of space with new entertainment, magic, food and fun. One of the new entertainment areas this year is the Edgewood Theater where guests will enjoy great physical comedy. And the new Queen’s Kitchen offers all types of additional food options including a meatball breadbowl, steak on a stick, tasty new desserts and of course the fan favorite…the huge turkey leg. Additional booths and shops make it a Renaissance shopper’s paradise. And while there, don’t forget to check out Wilson’s favorite thing…the knights jousting on horseback.
Visitors will find it easier to get to the festival this year with a updated entry and parking area. The Carolina Renaissance Festival is open Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 5pm through Sunday, November 22nd. Kids can enjoy a day of trick or treating on Halloween day. The festival is located just north of Charlotte off highway 73. Parking is free. Check out their website at carolina.renfestinfo.com.
