There will be a brief break from the showers Tuesday evening before another round of rain arrives late Tuesday night into Wednesday. High temperatures Wednesday will reach to near 70°. Although the rain will not be quite as heavy, on and off showers are likely Thursday through the upcoming weekend. High temperatures will remain well above average. Rain totals by late Friday will range from 2-3 inches in Charlotte to almost 5 inches in the high country.
