INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. – Wilson was at the Extreme Ice Center finding out more about all of the new things going on at the center and the upcoming special events to be held at the center.
Wilson talked with some of the skaters and members of the Charlotte Rush Hockey Team as well as young Joshua Lopez of the Rush who is a budding hockey broadcaster. Seems that Wilson met his match with this young man.
The Extreme Ice Center is the training facility for Charlotte’s newest hockey team, the Charlotte Rush Junior Hockey Club. Ryan Cruthers, coach of the Rush talked about the team, their inaugural season and their involvement with St. Baldrick’s Foundation.
This Sunday, January 10th, the center will host a special ice show to raise money for Madison’s Mission. Madison’s Mission was created to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and obtaining diabetic aid dog for Madison and other children with diabetes. Kendall Buckalew and Madison Bellof joined Wilson to talk about the ice show. A go fund me account has been set up for Madison at https://www.gofundme.com/MadisonMissionDog.
