CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The YMCA carries on Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy by inspiring teens to “Dream Like a King”.
Over 300 teens gathered at the McCrorey Family YMCA Monday morning for breakfast and motivational speaking. Teens listened as they learned how to discover their full potential in life and how to follow their dreams. Parents were taught on how they can help support their teen in following and achieving their dreams.
Author, actor and philanthropist Terrance J. spoke to the group and provided positive words of encouragement. Harding University Marching Band also made an appearance and performed live for the participants.
