Police: Two Arrested For Shooting Into East Charlotte Home

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Two men were arrested after police say they shot into a home while the residents were inside on Tuesday evening.

Police were called to the home on Currier Road and evidence led them to the suspects who were allegedly at a home on Rothman Lane. After detectives searched the residence, they found Omar Anthony and Larry Thomas Jr. and two weapons.

The suspects were taken to Hickory Grove Division team office where they were questioned by detectives. Anthony and Thomas were then charged with discharging a deadly weapon into an occupied dwelling, possession of firearm and discharging a weapon in city limits and were transferred to the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.
