Frigid Temperatures Continue Into The Upcoming Weekend
Arctic air will continue to impact the area over the next several days. High temperatures will struggle just to reach the low 40s through Saturday with overnight lows in the upper teens and 20s. An even colder air mass will arrive Sunday with highs only reaching the low 30s. Our average high is 54Β°, we likely won’t reach that until at least the middle of next week. As far as precipitation, snow showers will end tonight in the mountains, more snow showers will be possible in the higher elevations FridayΒ into Friday night. Charlotte will remain dry through Sunday. The next storm will arrive early next week.
