Wilson’s World: Major Competition at the S.C. Foosball Championships

Revolutions in Rock Hill, S.C. hosts the 8th Annual S.C. State Foosball Championships this weekend.

ROCK HILL, S.C. – Wilson found out this morning that foosball is alive and well and a lot of people enjoy the competition.  He was at Revolutions at the Rock Hill Galleria today where he was previewing this weekend’s S.C. State Foosball Championship.

This is the 8th year for the annual S.C. State Foosball Championships.  The event not only crowns a foosball champion, but raises funds for the Boys and Girls Clubs of York County.  Alan Cribbs, tournament host joined Wilson to talk about the tournament and it’s connection with the Boys and Girls Clubs of York County.  Bruce Nardoci, a long time foosball player and champion,  joined  Alan to give Wilson a quick tutorial on foosball rules and regulations.

Wilson took a tour through Revolutions while he was there, checking out the games and the laser tag.  Find out more about Revolutions at their website rockhill.revolutionsbowl.com.

The S.C. State Foosball Championship begins on Friday evening around 7pm and runs through Sunday, February 21st at Revolutions in the Rock Hill Galleria on Dave Lyle Blvd.   You can keep up with the S.C. Foosball Players Association and this week’s championship on their facebook page HERE.
