Wilson’s World: Girl Scout Cookie Time at the Hornets’ Nest Council

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – It’s Girl Scout Cookie time and that time of the year when Wilson stops by the Girl Scouts Hornets’s Nest Council to get an update on how sales are going.

There are only two more weeks to get those great cookies that the Girl Scouts sell this time of the year to raise funds that help the programs of the Girl Scouts as well as programs that they participate in to give back to the community.

Another great recipient of the cookie sale is our military.  Each year the Scouts will send cookies to our hard working troops overseas.  So, even if you aren’t a cookie person, you can purchase a box of cookies to send to a soldier who is away from home.

Wilson talked with some of the girls about their participation in Girl Scouts and to their leaders who talked about the importance of the cookie sales.
