Wilson’s World: Giving a Hand with Friendship Trays

Friendship Trays needs your help to prepare meals and get them delivered to those in need.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson was with Meals on Wheels this morning in the Friendship Kitchen where due to recent storms they had lost much of the food needed to prepare the meals for Friendship Trays.

Friendship Gardens, Friendship Kitchen and Friendship Trays all make up Meals on Wheels in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.  From the food grown in the Friendship Gardens, the volunteers and workers in the Friendship Kitchen prepare the food.  Over 600 meals a day are delivered thanks to the Friendship Trays.
