Showers And Storms Return Thursday Afternoon And Linger Into Friday

Thursday will be slightly milder and muggy under thickening clouds, highs in the low to mid 70s. Showers and thunderstorms will develop ThursdayΒ afternoon and linger into Friday as a cold front approaches from the west. Some of the stronger storms will have the potential to produce heavy rain and gusty winds. The cold front will clear the area just in time for the weekend, sunny skies and near normal temperatures are expected Saturday and Sunday.
