Wilson’s World: At IHOP Getting Ready for Teacher Appreciation Week

Wilson Kicking off this Year's Teacher Appreciation Week at IHOP in Pineville

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Today is the first day of National Teacher Appreciation Week, with Tuesday as the official National Teacher Appreciation Day.  And no one celebrates teachers more than Wilson. Today he was at IHOP in Pineville to kick off the week.

With Wilson was Lauren Johnson of Classroom Central telling us more about Teacher Appreciation Week.

IHOP in Pineville and Classroom Central are having a big event for teachers on Tuesday.  Classroom Central will also be celebrating the teachers with free IHOP gift cards as well as other fun surprises for the teachers who have signed up. For more information contact Classroom Central.

Classroom Central gives students living in poverty the school supplies they need to succeed in school.  Teachers visit Classroom Central to obtain those supplies free of charge without having to dip into their own pocket to help these kids.

Classroom Central covers schools in Charlotte Mecklenburg, Gaston, Iredell/Statesville, Union, the City of Kannapolis, and Lancaster, SC.  Find out more on how you volunteer or donate to Classroom Central at their website classroomcentral.org.
