Wilson’s World: At the 2016 Symetra Classic Golf Tournament

The Symetra Classic continues this week through Sunday at Raintree Country Club

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Wilson may have been banned at the Wells Fargo Golf Tournament, but someone forgot to stop him at the gate at Raintree Country Club where they are playing this year’s Symetra Classic.

The Symetra Golf Classic is one of the tournaments on the road for the younger women who are working to get to the to the LPGA tour.

Wilson hit the links with Symetra Tour player Therese O’Harato get a little practice in, stole a golf cart to go joy riding and got a preview of the upcoming Rock the Putt event.  He talked with Allison Emry, a graduate of Ardrey Kell High School, who is competing in the Classic in pursuit of her LPGA card.

Over 140 women from 22 countries all over the world are all working to get their LPGA tour cards.  Wilson talked with Allison Emry, a graduate of Ardrey Kell High School, who one one of those women competing.
