CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Two grown men…on tricycles…at a brewery…at 8am in the morning. What could go wrong? Well, if Wilson is one of those 2 men, there is no telling. Especially when he is joined by NASCAR driver Aric Almirola at Sugar Creek Brewing Company where he was previewing the upcoming 3rd Annual “Pink to Drink ” event for 24 Hours of Booty.
Aric was with Wilson at the brewery to talk about his upcoming 24 Hours of Booty preview ride on May 26th where participants can take a quick ride around the Booty Loop to raise more awareness for the 24 Hours of Booty. His ride begins at 10am on Thursday, May 26th at Bicycle Sport 2916 Selwyn Avenue and from there head to the Booty Loop for a ride. Contact Bicycle Sport for more information.
But it wasn’t all talk this morning. Wilson and Aric went outside and hopped on their own 3 wheeler to take a quick ride down a ramp and heading toward what could be disaster. Wilson pulled his best “Kyle Busch” move on Aric, but the race didn’t quite turn out like Wilson had hoped. Luckily, no bones were broken.
The Pink to Drink event will be hosted by four 24 Hours of Booty teams; Team AMWins, Team Libstrong/Drew’s Crew, Team Reeb and Team Spokes N’ Mirrors, the event will be a fun way to raise funds for a good cause. The event will take place simultaneously at Sugar Creek Brewing Company and the Olde Mecklenburg Brewery.
Fresh brews and appetizers at each brewery to enjoy along with live music, tricycle fun and a silent auction. The event will be held on Wednesday, June 1st from 6pm until 9pm at both Sugar Creek Brewing Company at 215 Southside Drive and only 500 feet away at Olde Mecklenburg Brewing 4150 Yancey Road. For more information on the Pink to Drink event go to the weblink picatic.com/pinktodrink. Everyone is asked to dress in pink for the event!
