New Study Shows N.C. Falling Short When It Comes To Education

CHARLOTTE, NC — North Carolina is ranked 28th in the country when it comes to education according to a new study.

The 2016 Kids Count Study show 57% of younger kids aren’t enrolled in school across the state, and middle schoolers are behind in math.

It’s not all bad though as the study shows more high schoolers are graduating on time, and 67% of fourth graders are getting better at reading skills.
